Whitt-At-Sea is located in Laguna Beach, Florida, just west of Panama City Beach and about 3 miles west of Hwy 79 and Front Beach Rd. intersection (known as the “Y”). This is the “panhandle” of Florida - the northwest section of the state. It is easily accessed from any of the southeastern states by car, or by plane if you are traveling from farther away. The Panama City International Airport (ECP) is approximately 20 minutes away.

• The best doughnut shop on the beach - Thomas’ Doughnuts (they also have the best cheeseburgers!)

• Carousel Grocery, Gift Shop & Liquor Store - you’ll find one of the best wine cellars around here.

• Winn-Dixie Grocery Store

• Carillon Beach shops and restaurants

• Pier Park - shops, restaurants, Target, Walmart, Cinemas, Concerts and more.  The only dog friendly beach is here.  Plenty to entertain the entire family - Ferris Wheel, Carousel and other kiddie rides.   

• Lake Powell - the largest coastal dune lake.  Great for kayaking, canoeing and fishing.  Camp Helen State park borders this lake and has kayak and canoe rentals, walking trails and beach access.

It’s a short drive to Thomas Drive and Heart of Panama City Beach where you’ll find Gulf World, Shipwreck Island Water Park, St. Andrews State Park, Shell Island, and more. The famous 30-A Seaside community is also a short drive. Restaurants are casual dining to fast food and primarily along Front Beach Rd., Middle Beach and Back Beach roads.  There are also some great restaurants if you go into St. Andrews (across the Hathaway Bridge).  Swimming, Snorkeling & Diving, Boating, Sailing, Water-skiing, Surfing, Parasailing, Jet-skiing, Shelling are all within the area.
